We have been operating this
Mountain lodge from the last five years. The
Mountain Lodge is located at Lachung in the north of
Sikkim which serves as an overnight stay place to go
further up to Yumthang Valley. The lodge has been
renovated & services extended.
The Lodge has 09 dbl/trple bedrooms with wall to
wall carpet, attached bathroom & geyser facility,
dining hall, staff quarter, a small kitchen & car
park. The accommodation is simple but neat &
comfortable & wholesome good food is served. All
rooms offer a magnificent view of the valley with
close access to the village & is a ideal retreat
place.
The Mountain Lodge is one km away from Lachung
Village against a backdrop of a magnificent view of
the mountain overlooking the village…… an ideal
place to experience rural life in North Sikkim.
We invite you to be our guest & experience a couple
of days relaxation & feel what it is like to live
the life of a Sikkimese villager….

August as it is monsoon season then & there are
possibilities of road blockade due to landslides at
some few well known sensitive places.

He is hardworking,
sincere & has been serving as a cook at the
mountain lodge from the last six years.
He is a excellent cook & boasts of preparing
all kinds of cuisines including Chinese,
Continental, Indian, Jain food & local
cuisine. Some of our clients feedback say
that the quality of the food at the lodge
prepared by Bikash were much better &
tastier in comparison to the food they had
in some of the reputed hotels/restaurants in
Gangtok.
He is a early riser & makes sure that the
guests staying at the lodge don’t miss out
on their morning hot tea/coffee & wake up
call followed by breakfast & other major
meals. His menu is prepared in varieties.
He caters the best to the guests so that
they return satisfied & is always tipped
handsomely by our guests. |

He is hard working, reliable, sincere & has started
from the grass root level. He is popularly known
among us as Mama & has been with us from the last
five years. He supervises the mountain lodge
efficiently & loves gardening. He maintains
cleanliness wherever he goes. He makes sure
regularly that the guest rooms are neat & clean &
the bedsheets, pillow cover, quilt cover are changed
after guests checks out & never misses to send it
for laundry. Whenever called upon he never fails to
report at our head Office.
